love it, but it broke super easy

I had been very satisfied with these airports, as compared to Bunn the opening inside is large, the capacity is great and the pump seems easier to use then Bunn. Where I am extremely dissatisfied is these are just over a year old and the tops have broken at the hinge. Or the handle has broken at the connect point. I think it is reflective of the reliance on plastic to make cheaper products. If these "high" use parts were made of a stainless steel these guys would last forever. Are they still functional? Yes. Are they a pain in the butt to manage? Yes and pretty much will break further as they fall.

I own a busy cafe and was in need of replacements from the Bunn airpot I had been using for years, I needed the largest capacity I could get and was excited to see Acopa brand and price. We have been using two of them for barely a month now and the benefit of having a large canister for easy filling is great but the seal on the o-ring took a bit of messing with. It wouldn't track on the groves and now after a month it is misshapen and doesn't seal at all. I already need to replace one of the airpots because I can no longer use it, the second one doesn't look as if it will last much more. We do wash all our dishes by hand, so it has nothing to do with a dish machine. I would steer clear if this is something you plan to use on the daily, if its a once and awhile thing- the airpot will be great for that but operating 7 days a week, not so much.
