    I purchased this beautiful stainless steel cheese knife to use for my Thanksgiving cheese board. The quality cannot be overstated. The handle is a gorgeous matte-finish honed marble that is heavy and well-finished. I love it. The blade is double-beveled and sharp, but you can certainly sharpen it if you need to. The first cheese knife I ordered had a loose blade, and Webstaurant made that right with a replacement. The second knife is absolute perfection, and the blade is firmly set in the ferrule. The whole set would be a lovely gift. I hope that Acopa expands their marble handle line to include the remaining cheese knife styles; it's 100% a winner. P.S. I do suggest using a stone sealer on any marble pieces you get so they aren't accidentally damaged by oils!

No, hand washing with soapy water and sanitizer solution is always recommended. When placed in a dishwasher, the process will often rust and cause damage to the edges of the blade.
