1 Gallon Glass Beverage Dispenser

Great Product. Inexpensive. Over the years, I have used this everyday. Often two at a time. They never leaked. On the first set, the tops broke because I dropped the top. Since I have not dropped a top. It's glass, it will break. However, slowly, the jars cracked only when being filled with Iced Tea. On the last one, yesterday, the tea had been sitting about 45 minutes and the jar was not cold. If you pour hot stuff into a cold jar it will crack instantly. I thought I had cured myself of that, but the last faint crack, echoed across the Kitchen yesterday. That was that. 1. On the rebound let the jar get to room temp, and let the Iced tea get close to room temperature and these inexpensive jars will last forever. 2. Don't top the glass top 3. The only time the spigots leaked was when the jar cracked. 4. Writing to give you the driver's manual for these excellent jars. Normal temp jar, normal temp beverage, don't drop the top. Your's will last longer than mine, which was very long. I actually have four tops waiting to be backups now. My downfall was not waiting for the temps to be in range. Great INEXPENSIVE product. We purchased two dispensers. Neither lasted over a couple months of use. The dispenser began leaking from the base. Also the glass lid is not secure on the container. It just rests there. It would be helpful if it had a rubber type seal so it would stay in place. They have a pretty design, just defective as they both had leaking issues and no visible crack in the glass.

I wasn't able to use this beverage dispenser. The spout leaked too much to put out on our counter. It was the size and style I wanted so I was very disappointed.
