Pangea 12 oz. Ash Matte Porcelain Mug - 24/Case

We ordered this product on Tuesday, October 29 of 2024. This review is being written on Wednesday, May 14 of 2025. This mug along with the Harbor Blue and Sage colors are absolutely beautiful and perform really well with our customers. We did order all three and so customers often receive different colors than the people they came to breakfast with, and they think that is great. The appearance of the mug is where the compliments stop. Within the first month of having these mugs the white speckled farmhouse detail of the mugs had washed off completely and the brightness of the main color had also faded quite a bit. The color fading I can live with. What is even worse than that is it does not matter how careful you are with these mugs, if you look at one wrong they will crack and/or break completely. Twice now we have had a handle snap off while a customer was using one of our mugs, THANKFULLY neither were injured by the hot coffee or broken mug. We have a storage shed where we keep extra plates/bowls/cups/plastics/etc. and so when we ordered we ordered extra to ensure we had backups for years to come. We are about 7 months out from our order date and we are already about to have to order more replacements because we have no extras left. If the handle doesn't break off the lip of the cup will chip, if the lip of the cup doesn't chip then the INSIDE of the mug will begin to crack and break off, and sometimes all three happen. We are so torn because we absolutely love the Pangea collection, but we are extremely disappointed in the quality. The name Pangea makes sense because our mugs are slowly breaking into a bunch of little pieces. I should also add, when our mugs were delivered we did have a couple that came in damaged and we were able to get those exchanged very quickly. As time went on, it seemed crazy to continue to contact Webstaurant every time one of these mugs broke.
