These bowls are absolutely beautiful! They feel sturdy like the rest of the line of acopa keystone plates that we carry but for some reason these bowls chip way easier. We've had about 10 chip since buying them about 6 months ago which is kind of a bummer, especially since we haven't had any issues with the plates chipping at all. Probably will choose a different bowl in the future when we need to reorder just because these have chipped so much. Other than that they're absolutely beautiful and look great with soup, stews, mac and cheese, potato and veggie side dishes in them as well.

The dark color finish of this soup crock gives a great plating finish to our soups and queso flameado. The small holds seem like they won't help in grasping it but you can actually hold it really well! It keeps food hot for our guests. Will order more.

While these crocks are beautiful with great presentation, the thin rim allows for many chips and cracks that become blatantly obvious with continued use at a restaurant. I have bought a significant amount and have found that 90% have chips that can cause concern for physical contaminants as well as a safety hazard for cuts. I wish i could find a sturdier option that is able to last longer than 2 months. i can not purchase again for my current operation, but can see the practicality for a slower-paced set up.

The bowl looks really good and they are a great size, color and shape. We did have a few broken bowl in the shipment but they were replaced. We have noticed that the finish quality is not that great. Many bowls have blemishes/defects that allows the white porcelain to show through the black glazing. Also, depending on what kind of lighting the bowl is in, it is not an absolute black, more of an espresso color. Overall, for the price, it is still a great bowl.

These soup crocks are used for serving soup and baked beans at or bbq restaurant. They are very nicely made and the perfect size for serving hearty foods like stews. They heat foods well in microwave also.

We got these for our queso fundido. They look and feel really good. Clients do like the color and bowl. We will be using it for our onion soup too.
