Bought these 2 months ago to use in the restaurant, and they are already coming apart and rusting. I'd say it's worth spending a little extra to have lasting quality.

If handwashing, do not use abrasive sponges, pads, or soaps to avoid unnecessary scratching. Wash and dry knives separately from other flatware. If your steak knives are dishwasher safe, wash them separately from spoons and forks, and do not use any harsh chemicals. Blades should face upwards to protect them from corrosion. The best method for storing and drying your steak knives is to hand-dry them with a clean, dry cloth.
